Initial Consultation

Tinsel House Studio always begins with a complimentary phone call followed by an on-site walk-through. During the initial consultation, Raegan will assess each property's potential, focusing on its layout, functionality, and design possibilities, while considering the client’s vision and needs for the space.
Proposal

Raegan creates a personalized custom proposal for each project, including design suggestions, a detailed breakdown of the work to be done, and a discussion of the client’s budget to ensure the design aligns with ﬁnancial expectations.
Contract

Once the proposal is approved and the contract is signed, design time begins as soon as the project deposit is received.
Design Purchasing

Using the information gathered during the initial property walkthrough, Raegan expertly crafts individualized design plans for each space. She works with her trade partners for needed items, all while diligently maintaining the project timeline and budget. All selections are emailed to homeowners virtually for client approval prior to ordering.
Install & Style

Once all goods have been purchased, they are shipped to our local receiving warehouse. Lastly, we will meet with you and any contractors for a ﬁnal walk-through and address any lingering items. Through this last step, we will coordinate the installation of products, bring in items for styling, and have the project professionally photographed. And then it is time to pop the bubbly and celebrate your newly designed space!

ABOUT RAEGAN

Get to Know Your Designer

Raegan Twisselmann grew up in the central coast of California and earned her bachelor's degree in art and design from San Diego State University. After college, her degree led her to focus on hospitality design in the San Diego and Las Vegas markets, where she worked for a leading soft goods design and manufacturing company.

After purchasing a second home in Truckee in 2013, Raegan personally experienced the challenges of remodeling and furnishing a home in a rural mountain town. It was also difficult to find tradesmen to rely on, as well as attempting to coordinate furniture deliveries. Once settled, her rolodex of trades started to form. By managing her own projects, she quickly gained a deep understanding of budget, the selection process, and keeping trade contractors on deadline-with mountain time being a real thing…

Now a full-time resident, wife, mom, and business owner, Raegan excels at simplifying the selection process, blending functionality into her designs, and ensuring that beautiful spaces also meet the needs of family and work life.
